My personal history begins with my birth in Detroit Michigan. When I was four years old, my father was transferred to Los Angeles by Chrysler Corporation. My sister and three brothers were all born here and we were raised in the Baldwin Hills area near the airport in Southwest Los Angeles. My earliest weekends were spent at my father's Chrysler Dealership near the Farmer's Market in Los Angeles sitting in expensive Chrysler 300s watching customers "kick the tires!" Great training for wedding ministry!

At an early age I felt a calling to ordained ministry and for many years served at various churches in the South Bay, San Fernando Valley and Westlake Village. For the past eighteen years I have been delighted to assist couples who are engaged to be married in the planning, preparation and celebration of their marriage ceremonies. In addition to this wedding ministry, I also am privileged to be a bereavement chaplain, author, lecturer and counselor. My wonderful wife Kathy is my companion, strength and inspiration in all I do for others.
